Through research on what triggers the aging process and how we can best manage it, SK-II has discovered that wrinkles “run”, much like the way a small hole in a stocking continues to extend.

This “crease” becomes longer and deeper every time you laugh or change a facial expression - in part due to loss of elasticity and tightness of the skin. Over time, these fine lines fail to fully disappear each time an expression is made, becoming more prominent. Repeated folding of the skin in the same place year after year eventually leads to the onset of persistent, deeper wrinkles.

Inspired by our new research findings, SK-II has paired Pitera® x4, a highly concentrated form of Pitera®, Vitamin B3 and a “Fill & Plump Complex”, which includes Glucosamine, Microglycan, a tetrapeptide new to SK-II, and Eternixine D, a yeast peptide, to create a high powered anti-ageing product.

By providing an initial burst of plumping hydration, wrinkle appearance is immediately smoothed. Then the sustained hydration over time seemingly blocks the extension of existing wrinkles, making them less visible and softening skin’s appearance.

Instant and long term effects

The effects of Signs Wrinkle Serum are visible not only over time, but also within the first hour of use. SK-II clinical testing has shown a decrease in the appearance of wrinkle depth and improvement of overall skin texture within 60 minutes of application. The vitamin-packed serum provides an intensely hydrating yet feather-light moisture boost to improve the skin’s elasticity and its firm appearance. After four weeks of continuous use of Signs Wrinkle Serum, there was a significant reduction in the appearance of wrinkle depth and area, as well as a significant increase in skin surface hydration.

Application

Dispense Signs Wrinkle Serum with two to three pumps and apply on the forehead, cheeks, jaw line and chin. Gently spread over the entire face. Apply an extra layer over key wrinkle concern areas, especially on the forehead, near the eye where crows’ feet typically appear.
