Rio Blue Light Teeth Whitening Kit, £29.99 (www.superdrug.com), this special gel helps to remove stains that are caused by red wine, coffee, tea, smoking and ageing by using blue light technology. It’s peroxide-free, so a good alternative if you’ve had sensitivity to peroxide versions. 4. Opalescence Home Whitening Kit at Dentexcel, £199 (020 7636 9393), after a professional teeth whitening treatment with Dentexel, an impression of your teeth can be made to create your own unique bleaching trays. Together with a whitening gel, this means you can top up the treatment at home. Worn for one hour per day for two to three weeks teeth should stay sparkling.5. This formula can give you a whiter smile in around 30 days. It uses, Arctic lichen, a natural, non-abrasive cleaning agent which gently removes discolourations. A great low budget way to a Hollywood smile.  6. Rapid White Bright Kit Tooth Whitening System, £29.99 (Boots), those awkward mouth trays putting you off? Here is a great alternative that uses a compact light instead. Shine the light on teeth for four minutes, twice a day, to trigger the teeth whitening process. You’ll need two weeks to see the best results but some see a difference in five days.7. Waterpik Power Whitening Flosser, £14.99 (Boots), what about those tricky areas? This handy little gadget is perfect for getting into those dark, unsightly areas between teeth. Just attach one of the mint-flavoured, whitening tips and the head, which gives 10,000 strokes per minute, gets to work on brightening up stained gaps. 8. Safe & White Brush On White Pen, £12.99 (www.safeandwhite.co.uk), paint the whitening gel onto teeth twice a day after brushing and you should see results in around seven days. Peroxide-free, the brush-on formula will lighten teeth by up to five shades. Recommended by dentists, this is safe to use even if you have gum problems. |
