Introducing the new Bsq. Natural Couture Fragrance Collection featuring exclusive images from the V&A John French archive Inspired by the timeless, elegant photographic collection by John French (1906-1966), the new Bsq. Natural Couture by Berkeley Square Cosmetics Company is a unique collaboration of art and fragrance combined to create a luxurious range of bath and body products.

John French was one of London’s top fashion photographers during the 1950s and 1960s, an era when those who wore and photographed clothing for a living could become famous overnight. He regularly worked with the era’s top models like Jean Shrimpton and well-known society figures and his work was featured in virtually every newspaper and magazine of the time.

After his death in 1966, the John French archive was presented to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, the world’s greatest museum of decorative arts and design.

The new Bsq. Natural Couture collection is a range of premium fragrances and body care products following a three year collaboration with the V&A. The range contains no parabens, no mineral oils, no SLES, no harsh preservatives, no artificial colours and no ethanol perfume bases.

The range has three beautiful fragrances – White Bergamot, White Amber and White Muguet inspired by the Golden Age of Couture (1947-1957), one of the V&A’s most successful recent exhibitions, and features images from the V&A John French photography archive.

White Bergamot – a refreshing fragrance with top notes of sparkling tea and floral bergamot finished with an orange base of Neroli essential oils.

White Amber – a warming fragrance with amber and Sandalwood essential oils. White Muguet – a fresh floral fragrance with Muguet on a citrus base with Jasmine essential oils.

Within each fragrance there are the following products:

Bsq. Natural Couture Eau de Toilette £20 – choose your favourite fragrance and spritz lightly all over. The three EDT’s make the perfect light day scent and don’t contain any ethanol based perfumes for a natural, refreshing fragrance.

Bsq. Natural Couture Shower Cream £12 – a gently hydrating body cleanser for everyday use. The unique natural fragrances are perfect for an early morning wake up call to uplift your senses.

Bsq. Natural Couture Body Lotion £14 – a light moisturising body cream perfect for everyday use. Simply apply all over after bathing for a daily tonic to super, soft skin.

Bsq. Natural Couture Shea Butter Soap £6 – these non-drying soaps are triple milled using traditional soap making methods and are ultra moisturising and create a creamy foaming lather to nourish as they cleanse.

Bsq. Natural Couture Body Butter £15 – a fine blend of shea butter and cocoa butter with Anuus seed and Moluccana nut oils to deeply moisturise dry, dull skin. Simply massage into the skin after bathing. The Body Butter will leave skin lightly fragranced and radiant looking.

Bsq. Natural Couture Hand & Nail Cream £10 – keep hands soft and smooth with the moisturising Hand & Nail Cream. The cream is also a great overnight intensive manicure must have to nourish hands as you sleep.
