The festive season is still the busiest time of year for shoppers and the cosmetic surgery industry is no different.
Conversion rates from consultation to surgery are higher in November than any other time of year, reaching 88 per cent, Mybreast figures show.
This is due to patients wanting to book in November to secure their surgery dates before Christmas.
Senior Patient Advisor at nationwide Mybreast, Tezgul Nidai, said: “This is our busiest time of year.
“Patients are desperate to book in their surgery dates before Christmas so they can recover over the holiday period and start the New Year with their new look.”
Consultant Plastic Surgeon for Mybreast, Nilesh Sojitra, said: “Some patients want surgery four weeks before Christmas so they’re fully recovered for their New Year’s Eve party.
“Others want surgery right before Christmas Day so they don’t have to take time off work during the recession”, Sojitra continued.
“Attending a consultation in November, allows patients to have the mandatory two week ‘cooling off period’ before having surgery in December”, Sojitra continued.
All surgeons who work for Mybreast are members of BAAPS and/or BAPRAS (The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and The British Association of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery).
Mybreast was pioneered in 2006 to create a company that specialised in breast surgery but now offers all forms of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
